  DOB, DOD: obit At his residence in Fairfax County, Va. on Monday evening, 8th inst Thompson Whaley Violett, in the 37th year of his age, after an indisposition of several months of a pulmonary affection, which became uncommonly severe for the last twelve days, by the combination of a Typhus pluerasy, which he bore with composure and resignation to the will of his God. By this dispensation of Providence, the afflictions are rendered doubly severe, an aged and widowed mother is left to bemoan the loss of her only child, and a wife and four small children to lament the early and irreparable loss of an affectionate husband and kind parent. 13 Feb 1830 Alexandria Gazette
