- On August 29, 2018 Phillip Myrick Morse, our beloved husband, father and grandfather went to join our Lord and Savior. He was surrounded by family and tears fell as he listened to, "Old rugged cross" for the last time.
Phil was born on March 5, 1939 in Hersey, Maine to Lloyd and Amy Myrick Morse. He was the oldest of five children.
Phil grew up working in his father's garage and plowing snow. He continued to be a skilled mechanic and plowed snow commercially until he retired. He was a jack of all trades. There seemed to be nothing that he couldn't master. Phil and his wfe, worked together on carpentry projects. They built and rebuilt homes, garages and offices. Then would grab their hammers and help their children with their building needs.
Phil and his wife enjoyed many years of travelling the US, St. Martin, and Aruba. Phil's favorite thing to do was travel. To find a beach was the best. Stretch out to enjoy the sun with his feet in the sand was a perfect day.
